Front house server

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for food service, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using a cash register or point-of-sale system.
• Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and dining room according to sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly manage cash register operations.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
• Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing cash effectively.
• Familiarity with culinary terms, food preparation, and sanitation practices is advantageous.
• Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated during busy shifts.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
