Role Description
This is a full-time, on multiple sites role for an Assistant Superintendent based in West Palm Beach, FL. The Assistant Superintendent will provide hands-on support to the project management team by overseeing daily on-site construction activities. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, monitoring project schedules, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, conducting quality control inspections, and identifying and resolving on-site issues in a timely manner. The role also involves maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Construction Management, Supervision, or Site Operations
- Knowledge of project scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and resource management
- Expertise in Quality Assurance, Safety Protocols, and Compliance Standards
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with construction tools, equipment, techniques, and materials
- Proficiency in construction software and technology tools (e.g., project management software, blueprint reading)
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus
- OSHA certification or similar safety training is preferred

Experience with occupied properties (HOAs, schools, offices)
Punch list / closeout experience
Basic plan reading and field documentation
