This is a full-time, on-site role for an Acoustics Noise Vibration specialist located in Santa Monica, CA. Responsibilities include conducting noise and vibration analysis, developing mitigation solutions, collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams, performing field measurements, and preparing technical reports. The role will focus on the application of acoustical principles to various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Knowledge in acoustics, noise, and vibration analysis and mitigation
- Experience in field measurements and data analysis
- Technical writing skills for preparing detailed reports and documentation
- Ability to collaborate with clients, architects, and other engineering teams
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in acoustical engineering
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Acoustical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience in acoustical consulting or a related industry is a plus
