Vencomatic North America is the exclusive distributor for European poultry farming equipment manufacturers. The office/warehouse in Adel, IA provides support for US and Canada markets. The product line includes simple egg collection systems, large/complex poultry equipment installations, and/or automated egg handling.
Job Overview
Service and assemble our products for our valued customers at their North American locations in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Supervise the installations of third party contracted assemblers. Working with our technical team to provide technical support and installation services of our products for the poultry industry.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Supervise third party installation crews at customer’s sites.
- Provide technical support services of our products for the poultry industry.
- Assist the project managers and sales to define the required products/goods and services to meet the customer’s needs.
- Provide outstanding customer service.
- Respond to emergency calls regarding customer equipment service needs.
- Help maintain warehouse and sites in perfect order.
- Administrative tasks completed on time.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED. Associate degree in automation technology or related field would be a plus.
- Familiar with computer science, mechanics, electronics, machinery and process controls
- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and excellent mechanical aptitude
- Experience in a production environment and familiar with maintenance equipment
- A history of safe job site work practices.
- Safe driving history.
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge and skills.
- Experience directing group assembly/installation activities. Prior experience as a job site supervisor or similar position is an asset.
- Ability to read and follow/understand schematics.
- Automation experience as well as electrical controls experience is a plus.
- Must be fit for the role. This includes flexibility, mobility, and strength.
- Good English written and verbal communication skills.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
