Our Mission:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team based in Costa Mesa, CA!

Our Retail channel is very dynamic and growing quickly, and is central to the development of our company, with direct stores in Italy, the UK, and the US, and planned openings nationwide. It's a great opportunity for an ambitious talent who wants to make a difference in the Retail world.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales through a high standard of customer service and business acumen,
• Be a brand champion by promoting the Venchi Service Model,
• Support the store manager to drive stores KPI’S, goals, and results.
• Support all employees in their training, acting as a guide and motivator while continuously teaching and developing.
• Support the manager in leading the team in achieving company objectives.
• Support the Store manager in planning and well-structured follow-ups and coaching sessions with all team members.
• Ensure standards and procedures are met through a successful Store Operational Audit.
• Keep all equipment well-maintained and report any issues.
• Maintain food and safety regulations.

Assistant Store Manager Role Requirements:

• Two years of Assistant Store Manager experience
• Experience in running a fast-paced retail sales and customer service environment.
• Working experience in the food industry is preferred.
• Passionate about chocolate and gelato.
• Fluent in English, bilingual is a plus.
• Flexibility in work schedule is required, including the ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Comfortable working evenings and weekends, that’s when we are at our busiest!
• Ability to work a retail schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays…and obviously a chocolate and gelato lover!
