Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment adjustments.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment (including MIG welding), and airless paint sprayers to restore vehicles.
- Conduct sheet metal fabrication, auto glass replacement, and auto painting with precision and attention to detail.
- Execute auto restoration tasks such as soldering, assembly, and detailing to ensure vehicles meet quality standards.
- Use auto estimating software and customer service skills to communicate repair progress and explain work performed.
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks including mechanical repairs, heavy lifting, and component installation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during all repair processes.
Qualifications
- Previous dealership or auto body shop experience is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, fabrication, sheet metal work, and auto painting techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Familiarity with auto glass installation, auto estimating procedures, and auto restoration processes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate various automotive repair equipment efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with good customer service skills.
