Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Manage cash handling duties with precision, including cashiering and processing payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Assist in setting up banquet events or catering functions as needed, ensuring all guest needs are met seamlessly
- Monitor guest satisfaction continuously, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
- Follow all health regulations related to food safety, alcohol service, and responsible beverage service practices
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights or special events like nightclub nights or banquets
Experience
- Prior restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining, nightclub environments, or banquet settings
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during peak hours
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with local laws and regulations (food safety knowledge beneficial)
- Background in retail math, cash handling, and basic math skills necessary for accurate billing and transactions
- Knowledge of food industry standards related to food handling, catering, brewing, hospitality, and customer service excellence
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment that demands adaptability and excellent communication skills
