Job Summary:
We are looking for a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player. To be a qualifying fit for our team, a candidate must have:
- A great understanding of garment construction from the point of measurement and specifications for tops, bottoms, dresses, sweaters, suiting, and outerwear. Must be able to create technical packages, including specs, trims, sample requests, fittings, corrections, pre-production, and TOP production approvals.
- Experience in both men’s and women’s
- Extensive Knowledge and Ability to spec both knit and woven garments.
- Follow through and full understanding of all aspects of technical design from concept and illustrator sketches.
- Must be proficient in Excel.
- Strong sense of urgency and successful track record in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and time management
- Verbal and written communication skills are crucial, with the ability to communicate easily with overseas vendors.
Qualifications:
Education: Technical Design degree (but not required) or equivalent preferred. Experience: 5 years or more of Technical Design experience.
