Groome Transportation is NOW HIRING an Auto Detailer for our Albany location!
Role and Responsibilities
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Wash exterior of vehicles
- Clean and dry windows (inside and outside), leaving no stains or streaks, as well as dashboards
- Vacuum carpets and seats
- Place seat belts in order, for a professional appearance
- Fuel vehicle prior to washing (applicable by location)
- Complete daily checklist (applicable by location)
- Assist operations in moving vehicles around lot (applicable by location)
- Maintain fluid levels and tire pressure in detailed vehicles (applicable by location)
- Notify management of any vehicles missing safety equipment or with operational issues
- Maintain inventory of detailing supplies
Assist in property, building and workspace upkeep by doing the following:- Vacuum and mop floors in lobby, restroom, reservation area, and main office area each shift
- Empty trash receptacles at the end of the shift
- Refill paper products in restrooms, as needed
- Pick up trash and debris
- Clear weeds from property
- Work varied shifts as needed
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Job Requirements:
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 1-2 years outdoor, standing work experience
- Prior auto experience a plus Satisfactory completion of each of the following:
- Background investigation
- Drug test
- DOT physical and agilities test (drivers only)
- Motor Vehicle Report (drivers only)
Preferred Skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Detail-oriented, dependable and motivated
- Ability to maintain excellent attendance record
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
