Janitorial Subcontractors

Veltex Services is hiring Janitorial Subcontractors (1099) to provide daily cleaning operations for a large sporting goods store in Post Falls, Idaho.

We need 2 to 3 experienced housekeeping or janitorial subcontractors who have experience performing common cleaning duties such as cleaning restrooms, breakrooms, offices, trash collection, cleaning windows, low and high dusting, floor care and carpet care and general disinfecting of a variety of surfaces.

Shifts may include: 6:00am-9:00am, 11:00am–6:00pm, 12:00pm–7:00pm, 2:00pm–9:00pm, and 4:00pm–9:00pm. Weekend availability is required for all subcontractors.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, stocking supplies, sanitation, and floor maintenance.
• Operate floor scrubbers, carpet shampoo machines, window washing equipment, and deep-cleaning devices.
• Execute carpet shampooing; tile, grout, and upholstery cleaning; kitchen and restroom disinfecting; window washing; and odor control.
• Manage time and task sequencing to complete the full Janitorial scope within the allotted shift.
• Maintain supply levels, report equipment needs, and escalate issues to Veltex Services management.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and Veltex Janitorial standards.

Qualifications/Experience

• Janitorial or commercial cleaning experience with proficiency in floor care, carpet shampooing, window washing, and deep cleaning.
• Excellent customer service; professional, friendly communication with clients and co-workers.
• Flexible availability for variable afternoon/evening shifts and weekends.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, climb, bend, kneel; push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, equipment safety, and PPE.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Punctual, dependable, trustworthy, and positive; proven time management and task planning skills.
• Able to work autonomously once trained and collaborate effectively when needed.
• Willing to undergo drug testing and background check if requested.
