Veltex Recovery Group is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and clinically skilled Behavioral Health LPN to join our women’s residential substance use disorder treatment program.
Behavioral health, residential treatment, detoxification, or substance use treatment experience strongly preferred.
This full-time position plays a vital role in supporting women through the recovery process by providing medical monitoring, medication management, client education, and collaborative behavioral healthcare within a trauma-informed residential environment.
We are looking for a nurse who is passionate about helping individuals heal, grow, and rise while working alongside a multidisciplinary treatment team committed to long-term recovery outcomes.
Position Responsibilities
- Administer medications and monitor medication compliance in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Conduct nursing assessments and monitor clients for withdrawal symptoms, medical concerns, and changes in condition
- Accurately document nursing services, medication administration, and client progress in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with providers, therapists, case managers, and behavioral health staff to coordinate client care
- Provide client education regarding medications, recovery, health conditions, and wellness
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and crisis situations
- Monitor vital signs and assist with admissions, discharges, and continuity of care planning
- Maintain infection control, medication storage, narcotic count, and medication administration procedures in compliance with state and regulatory standards
- Support a safe, therapeutic, trauma-informed treatment environment for women in recovery
- Assist in promoting structure, accountability, and emotional support within the residential setting
Qualifications
- Active West Virginia LPN license in good standing required
- Strong understanding of medication administration and nursing documentation standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team
- Compassionate, professional, and client-centered approach to care
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Employment Requirements
- Successful completion of pre-employment and random drug screening
- Successful completion of West Virginia Cares background investigation
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and healthy boundaries in a residential treatment environment
