Role Description
The Policy and Research Intern position is an unpaid, volunteer opportunity (REMOTE). Interns will support VJC’s mission by conducting in-depth policy research, analyzing data, drafting reports, and contributing to advocacy materials. Responsibilities include reviewing literature, summarizing findings, and assisting in the development of recommendations to inform policies impacting migrant workers. Interns will work closely with the team to create compelling content and strengthen communication strategies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Policy Research, Research, and Analytical Skills
- Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Background in Economics or related fields is highly valued
- Keen interest in migrant worker issues and social justice
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a related field, such as public policy, social sciences, or law
