Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders using POS systems, ensuring all requests are noted.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food handling safety standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests.
- Process payments accurately using cash registers or Aloha POS systems.
- Assist with banquet services as needed, including setup and breakdown of events.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and glassware.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Skills
- Proficient in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Strong sales skills to promote menu items effectively.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of retail math for accurate billing and cash handling.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques is a plus for beverage service.
- Experience with Aloha POS systems is preferred but not required.
- Understanding of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Previous experience in the food industry or banquet services is advantageous.
