Shop Technician

Job Summary

We're a small, new fast-moving auto shop specializing in oil changes, tires, and basic maintenance. Our goal is to provide honest, fast service for customers who want a reliable alternative to a big dealership.

We are looking for a friendly, reliable tech who can handle both the shop and the counter, keeping the workflow moving and customers happy.

Responsibilities

Counter / Customer Service

• Greet customers professionally and quickly
• Take payments, schedule appointments, answer phone calls and sell products
• Explain basic services (oil changes, tire installs, rotations, etc.)
• Keep front counter and waiting area organized
• Upsell simple add-ons politely

Shop / Technical Work:

• Perform Oil Changes and fluid checks
• Mount, balance, repair and rotate tires
• Perform basic maintenance services (battery changes, brakes, light repairs, etc.)
• Keep shop clean and organized
• Restock parts and inventory as needed
• Follow all safety procedures

Qualifications

• 2 years of shop experience preferred (B-tech or equivalent)
• Comfortable with basic diagnostics and repairs
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn on the fly
• Able to manage multiple tasks independently
• Excellent customer service skills
• Punctual, reliable, and hardworking
• Must have your own tools
• Valid driver's license
