Overview
We are seeking a driven and adaptable In-House Recruiter to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruiting process for a wide range of positions—from skilled trades and technical roles to professional and administrative staff. The Recruiter will actively source candidates, manage inbound applications, conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, and facilitate onboarding to ensure a seamless candidate and new hire experience. Success in this position requires adaptability, strong organizational skills, and the ability to align hiring decisions with compliance standards, cultural fit, and payroll budget.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring for diverse roles across the organization.
- Develop and execute proactive recruiting strategies for both blue-collar and white-collar positions.
- Conduct phone screens to evaluate candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural alignment.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand current and future staffing needs and role requirements.
- Ensure all recruiting activities comply with employment laws, internal policies, and industry regulations.
- Manage job postings, applicant tracking, and candidate communications in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and leadership teams.
- Facilitate onboarding, ensuring new hires have a smooth transition into the company.
- Monitor recruiting metrics, report on progress, and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain adherence to payroll budget and staffing plans when extending offers.
- Represent the company brand professionally in the marketplace, promoting a positive candidate experience.

Education Background and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a recruiter (in-house or agency) with exposure to both high-volume and specialized recruiting.
Physical Demands (To include but not limited to)
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or workstation.
- Occasional standing or walking within the office or shop, such as attending meetings, retrieving documents, or interacting with customers or employees.
- Occasionally lifting and carrying items, typically weighing up to 10-20 pounds.
- Frequent use of fingers and hands for typing, writing, and operating a computer.
- Using telephones, printers, copiers, and other office tools.
- Frequent need to focus on printed or digital material.
- Reviewing financial documents, schedules, or customer data with accuracy.
- Regular communication with customers, vendors, and team members, either in person, on the phone, or via video conferencing.
- Engaging with customers in person or over the phone, sometimes requiring extended periods of active listening and problem-solving.
- Prolonged exposure to hot or cold temperatures.
- Mild noise from office machines or nearby shop areas if the office is adjacent to the workshop. PPE may be required while walking through the shop.
- Moving around the office or between departments, sometimes requiring the ability to climb stairs.
- Safely operate a motor vehicle.
