Position Overview:
Velocity Public Records is looking for a commercial title abstractor to join our passionate team in providing the best possible service to the title industry. If you prefer to work independently and are self-motivated, while always having an experienced support team behind you, we would love to talk to you.
**This position requires travel in Southern GA.

This is a remote / work from home position with the possibility to travel to counties multiple time a week.
Job Details:
· Examine documentation such as mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, plat books, maps, contracts, and agreements to verify factors such as properties' legal descriptions, ownership, or restrictions.
· Prepare lists of all legal instruments applying to a specific piece of land and the buildings on it.
· Prepare reports describing any title encumbrances encountered during searching activities and outlining actions needed to clear titles.
· Comprehension of sometimes complicated documents, including legal descriptions.
· Plotting legal descriptions.
· Communicating with state lead / team members with any questions or issues that may arise during your title search.
· Managing your time in accordance with target dates.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Fitzgerald, GA 31750
