What are the responsibilities and job description for the FBA Prep Center Associate position at Velocity Prep Services?
About This Role
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented part-time associate to join our prep center team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a structured, low-pressure environment. No prior Amazon experience is required; we’ll train you on everything you need to know. If you’re someone who takes pride in doing things carefully and correctly, you’ll fit right in.
Day-to-day, this role is straightforward: receive incoming inventory, prep products according to Amazon’s requirements, and help get outbound shipments packed and shipped on time. The work is repetitive by design, but the details matter, and we count on our team to stay sharp and consistent throughout every shift.

- Ability to lift 50lb boxes
Outbound Shipping
- Pack prepped units into Amazon FBA shipment boxes
- Apply box-level labels and verify shipment contents against manifests
- Keep the outbound staging area organized and ready for daily pickups

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all tasks
