Job description:
Velocity Flex is looking for a motivated, independent sales professional to grow our client’s business in custom packing, crating, and compliance services.
What You’ll Do
- Find and develop new business opportunities
- Build strong relationships with clients needing packaging for hazardous and non-hazardous goods
- Present and promote services to drive sales growth
- Meet clients in person—locally and at trade shows or events
- Understand customer needs around packaging, hazmat rules, warehousing, and shipping
Responsibilities
- Manage a sales pipeline and close deals
- Create tailored proposals and presentations
- Work with internal teams to deliver great service
- Maintain long-term client relationships
- Use sales tools like Dynamic Business Central to track performance
- Support marketing efforts and attend industry events
- Help develop strategies with marketing and account teams
- Educate clients on services and ensure satisfaction
- Manage accounts and support teammates when needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years in outside sales, ideally in packaging, logistics, or cargo services
- Knowledge of crating, packing, and transit solutions
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools
- Willing to travel locally and attend events (up to 15% travel between Houston, Dallas, and Atlanta)
- Hazmat/dangerous goods experience is a plus

Salary : $55,000 - $85,000
