Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective customers through outbound calls, cold calling, and in-person interactions to generate new sales opportunities
- Manage and nurture the sales pipeline from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring a seamless customer experience
- Conduct high-end automobile sales by understanding customer needs and presenting suitable vehicle options
- Utilize CRM software to track leads, follow-ups, and sales activities effectively
- Negotiate terms and prices with customers to close deals that meet both client satisfaction and dealership objectives
- Upsell additional products such as warranties, service packages, and accessories to maximize sales revenue
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of inventory levels, new arrivals, and promotional offers to inform customers accurately
- Support marketing initiatives by participating in promotional events and public speaking engagements when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the entire sales process, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for increasing market share and improving overall dealership performance
Experience
- Proven experience in automobile sales or retail sales is preferred, especially within a dealership environment
- Demonstrated success in outside sales, B2B sales, or high-end vehicle sales is highly desirable
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals effectively
- Familiarity with CRM software platforms used for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and public speaking abilities
- Multilingual capabilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Experience with inventory management, inventory control, retail math, and organizational skills are beneficial for maintaining accurate records and achieving sales goals
- Previous experience in marketing or sales support roles will be considered an asset
