Summary of Position:
The Senior Mobile Software Engineer’s role is pivotal in shaping and crafting cross-planform mobile solutions for Velocitor Solutions’ products. This position will be central in the rapid development of Kotlin/Swift/Maui/C# Android and iOS applications.
Responsibilities:
The Sr. Mobile Software Engineer position will require experience performing the following:
•Contribute an extensive reservoir of expertise and competence, coupled with the capacity to swiftly conceptualize, design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications using Kotlin/Swift/Maui/C# for iOS and/or Android
•Help us implement manual & automated testing into our development process.
•Possesses Expert knowledge of iOS and/or Android development practices
•Troubleshoot and resolve any defects that may arise
•Maintain existing code
•Attend and actively engage in team meetings as scheduled
•Work with analysts to define system requirements
•Develop quality products and deliver them on schedule
•Work with functional testers to ensure accuracy
•Research and learn about new technologies
•Produce technical documentation
•Fulfill miscellaneous tasks and special projects as delegated by management or in accordance with business requirements
Requirements:
• Passionate about mobile development
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent professional experience
• Experience developing production Android, iOS or both applications through all phases
• Some combination of: Kotlin & Jetpack Compose Android, Swift & Swift UI iOS and/or C#
Kotlin/Swift/MAUI development experience
• MVVM and related mobile application architecture and design patterns
• Experience with JSON, XAML/XML and REST Web Services
• Experience with GIT, Jira and Azure pipelines
• Ability to quickly learn and understand internal systems, procedures and methodologies
• API design and development experience a plus
• Knowledge of SQL a plus
• Accessibility, Unit & UI testing a plus
• Must have excellent communication skills and work well with others
• Team oriented and product focused

• This role is an in-office position
