We enable companies to generate real business value from AI / LLMs. Despite the promise of AI, few companies have become AI-native. Developers are faced with an ever evolving landscape of models, hosting providers and challenges with evaluation and observability. We’ve seen companies spend months of engineering time building good tooling for this (time which could be spent on their core end user facing product) yet despite this, they struggle to get great results from AI and fall short of delivering AI adoption. Our platform provides companies best-in-class tooling for developing AI solutions from beginning to end, including tools to facilitate experimentation, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring. We also often share our expertise with customers building these applications.
Traction so far
We support 150 paying customers and continue to grow ~10–15% month over month, mostly through organic demand and word of mouth. As more companies try to move from “AI demos” to real AI-native operations, the need for what we do becomes obvious.
Vellum has raised more than $24 million, including a $20M Series A in 2025 led by Leaders Fund. Our investors include Y Combinator, Rebel Fund, Eastlink Capital, Arash Ferdowsi (Dropbox), Dharmesh Shah (HubSpot), Dan Scholnick (Weights & Biases, Docker, New Relic), and Divya Bhat (YC).

What You’re Signing Up For
IRL as a channel is becoming more important than ever. With AI slop everywhere, we need to build trust with our users, show them what’s actually possible, and help them become more AI-native without the noise. We’re looking for someone who understands the AI space and is genuinely excited about helping thousands of professionals adopt AI agents. You’ve probably worked in a marketing or community role and you obsess over how great events and useful resources shape a GTM motion.
This role will work directly with our Head of Growth to shape the GTM motion and help us move into the next stage of the business.

What You’ll Do
- Organize and host IRL events and hackathons in our NYC office to expand our presence in the city and deepen partnerships across the ecosystem.
- Create long-form videos, starter guides, youtube shorts, playbooks and other resources that help people understand what’s possible with agents and how to build those with Vellum
- Lead virtual webinars and office hours that walk through practical agent use cases and help our ICP understand how Vellum applies to their real workflows. Partner closely with the GTM team to drive strong attendance and turn interest into opportunities.
- Be an active voice on Twitter and LinkedIn. Jump into conversations, share how Vellum solves real problems, support AI builders, and build a community that naturally wants to follow and engage with our content.
- Kick off and manage the Vellum forum, supporting external users on how to build and succeed with our Agent builder.
- Capture feedback and patterns from the community and share them with product to improve onboarding and adoption.
- Manage logistics, outreach lists, and follow ups to ensure every event and campaign is tightly executed and maximizes engagement
- 2–4 years of experience in a community-building role in SaaS or B2B (preferably in the AI industry)
- A solid understanding of the AI market and how automation and agents show up in real workflows.
- A strong sense for what motivates communities, how to spark engagement, and how to sustain it over time
- A collaborative mindset and a desire to work closely with Growth, Sales, and Product to amplify community impact
- Comfortable using video editing tools to create engaging and easy to follow demos
- The ability to thrive in an early stage environment and can own a function with minimal direction

- You’ve run a community or creator program that grew to at least 1K active members
- You’ve launched a Discord, forum, or Reddit community and maintained weekly active engagement of 15 to 25%
- You’ve created video content that reached 20K cumulative views across YouTube, LinkedIn, or TikTok
- You’ve worked at or with developer-focused or AI/infra companies
- You’ve built or automated something yourself using AI tools
