Barista

We are hiring for a barista at our Golden location!

This position is not seasonal -- interested candidates should be able to provide a minimum of 1 year to the role.

Positions range from 15 to 30 hrs. Starting barista pay is $27 /hr. ($15.25/hr Base Pay and $11.75 /hr Minimum Guaranteed Pooled Tips) Accrued paid time off. Lots of free drinks and discounts. And ridiculous amounts of fun.

Job Duties:
- Provide incredible hospitality to our customers.
- Educate customers about coffee. Help customers find beverages they enjoy. Prior interest and knowledge are helpful for this position.
- Running the cash register. Proper cash management.
- Proper coffee and espresso preparation. You'll be tasting black coffee and straight espresso regularly. If you're excited to learn, we're willing to train, but the learning curve can be steep without prior experience and interest.
- Simple food preparation following Colorado Retail Food Rules & Regulations.
- Cleaning duties. Cleaning of lobby, food preparation equip, counters, dishes, floors, etc. occurs constantly between customers.
- Position requires standing for the entirety of work shifts, moving boxes, etc.

Qualifications:
- We are seeking service-oriented candidates with a strong work ethic.
- Prior food customer service experience.
- Prior specialty coffee experience preferred.
- Sufficient availability.
