Job Objective: Following standard operating procedures, finish material through the blocking process. Maintain safety, quality and delivery standards all while keeping the work clean. Complete necessary paperwork and perform other duties as assigned. Perform to takt time.

Essential Job Functions:

• Convert material through the Blocking process following established standard operating procedures and control plans.
• Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
• Read and interpret the discrete job.
• Tag and remove out-of-specification material.
• Load and unload equipment.
• Maintain quality standards and a clean work area.
• Complete necessary paper or computer work and other duties as directed.
• Maintain established production standards.
• Accountable for individual / department goals and objectives.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Full time presence required
• Ability and willingness to be cross trained in any other functions as required or requested.
• Excellent attendance required.
• Ability to work overtime as required or requested including extended shifts and weekends.
• Additional tasks as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret written instruction.
• Complete basic paperwork and to perform data entry.
• Good dexterity and hand / eye coordination.
• High school diploma or GED.
