Provide high-quality tier 1 technical support to local and remote users, with a focus on the local region, for Velcro Companies’ workstations, applications, and projects.
IT Support & Service Delivery (Primary Focus – 70–80%)
- Provide on-site support to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve tier 1 incidents and service requests.
- Escalate tickets with detailed, helpful documentation according to procedures.
- Deploy standard software/hardware following IT and cybersecurity standards.
- Provision and manage workstations using Microsoft Intune.
- Assist with Moves/Adds/Changes in current IT computing environment.
- Assist as needed with items related to current business strategic initiatives
AI / Automation (Secondary Focus – 20–30%)
- Assist with the implementation of an AI agent with the HR department.
- Help with the design, prototype, and implementation an AI agent using internal tools
- Document workflows, training data sources, prompts, and evaluation metrics.
- Collaborate with IT Operations, HR, and other business stakeholders to gather requirements and validate outputs.
- Help develop agent performance and ROI metrics of the HR AI agent, including productivity or quality improvements.
- Present findings and outcomes to IT leadership at the conclusion of the internship.
Job Qualifications:
- Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (or equivalent degree)
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Skills using Artificial Intelligence applications, preferrable Microsoft Copilot
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Applications
- Experience with Windows 10/11 workstations
- Possesses strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Customer service experience would be great but not essential
- Ability to work on-site in Manchester, NH 5 days per week 8:00-5:00 PM (breaks included). Occasional travel to Somersworth, NH facility.
