Painter Helper – Collision Body Shop (Will Train)
Location: Tustin, CA
We are a busy, family-owned collision repair shop looking for a motivated Painter Helper to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to start a career in the automotive refinishing industry. Previous experience is helpful but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Assist the paint technician with daily shop operations
- Sand, mask, tape, and prepare vehicles for paint
- Clean and maintain paint equipment and work areas
- Mix and organize materials under supervision
- Buff and polish completed paint work as trained
- Keep the paint department clean, organized, and efficient
- Follow all shop safety procedures and maintain a professional work environment
Qualifications
- Minimal experience required—we will train
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team
- Attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
