Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Data Center Construction Manager based in the San Antonio, Texas Metropolitan Area. The Construction Manager will oversee all phases of data center technical fitout construction, including planning, budgeting, and implementation, while ensuring adherence to specifications, design, timelines, safety, and quality standards. Key responsibilities include managing project teams, supervising subcontractors, enforcing construction safety protocols, and monitoring project controls to align with objectives and budgets.
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills and the ability to lead and manage project teams effectively
- Experience in budgeting and cost management, ensuring financial integrity throughout the construction cycle
- Proficiency in construction safety protocols and practices to maintain a safe working environment
- Expertise in construction and a deep understanding of project-specific methods and materials
- Familiarity with project control methodologies, tracking progress, and meeting deliverables
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is a plus
- A minimum of 5 years prior experience in data center new construction is REQUIRED
