Key Responsibilities
- Schedule new patient appointments, recall visits, and confirm upcoming appointments
- Monitor and follow up on missed (“no-show”) appointments in an efficient and timely manner
- Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, take accurate messages, and direct calls appropriately
- Maintain a courteous, professional, and upbeat phone demeanor at all times
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, verify appointments, and obtain required documentation
- Collect and review patient information, including insurance and identification cards; scan and upload into EMR
- Ensure all patient forms and consent documents are completed, signed, dated, and properly witnessed
- Enter and maintain accurate patient demographics and medical records in the EMR system
- Prepare patient charts and assist in maintaining smooth daily patient flow
- Perform daily financial duties, including collecting payments, reconciling transactions, and closing out credit card batches
- Verify insurance eligibility and obtain referrals and test results from outside providers as needed
- Travel to satellite office locations on a weekly basis
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Address patient concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary
- Adhere to all HIPAA and OSHA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and workplace safety
- Promote a positive image of the practice
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Accurate data entry and basic math skills

- Working knowledge of medical insurance, including benefits and participation
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a medical office front desk receptionist (Required)
- Familiarity with medical terminology (Preferred)
- Basic computer proficiency (Preferred)
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Valid Driver’s License (Required)
Salary : $17 - $20
