Job Summary
Production Team Members operate various metalforming machines to produce components for vehicles. This includes inspection and packing of various metalforming components. Upon hire, employees will be assigned to work in one of these areas. Additional tasks include quality assurance, performing basic troubleshooting and keeping workstations clean, among others.
Key Responsibilities of Production Team Members
- Ensure quality of all parts produced in assigned work area
- Learn all aspects of all parts produced in assigned work area, including critical quality factors, customer needs, and acceptable standards
- Use appropriate measuring equipment
- Maintain equipment, ensuring quality on parts
- Report all critical and non-critical problems to Manufacturing Shift Supervisor, Team Leader, and/or Maintenance (as applicable)
- Fill in on other machinery or cleanup work area, when equipment is not running
- Assist in training of employees
- Keep all equipment running 100% of allowed time
- Keep accurate records
- Read, follow and become familiar with all details and work instructions
- Participate in Continual Improvement activities
- Adhere to customer requirements, Business Operating System and company policies
- Attain safety, quality and productivity goals
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED is required
Required Skills / Knowledge:
- Able to work flexible hours
- Able to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds
Now hiring for the following shifts:
- 2nd (Afternoon) Mon – Fri 2:00pm – 10:30pm
- 2nd (Afternoon) Mon – Fri 3:00pm – 11:30pm
- 3rd (Overnight) Sun – Thurs 10:00pm – 6:30am
- 3rd (Overnight) Sun – Thurs 11:00pm – 7:30am
*Overtime is occasionally available on all shifts and weekends
*Mandatory daily & weekend overtime is occasionally (but seldomly) required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.91 - $19.94 per hour
