Dispatcher

Job Overview:

VMS is seeking to add a Dispatch Specialist to the team. You will be responsible for supporting a network of towing operators across all of our regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Information Technology, will be driven by the challenge of providing high quality service to end users, and solving technology problems. This entails educating law enforcement agencies and towing operators on the use of web based and mobile technology platform, resolving level one-support issues, and ensuring our users have an awesome experience working with VMS, which is critical to our success.

Available Shifts:

•Tuesday-Saturday 3:00 PM-11:30 PM starting rate $18.50/hr

•48 hours scheduled shift: Starting Pay $19.50/hr

• Saturday-Wednesday, Sunday-Monday shift time: 10:00 PM-10:30 AM
• Tuesday,Wednesday,Saturday shift time 11:00 PM-7:30 AM

Essential Job Functions:

•Handle inbound communications via phone in professional manner

•Update inventory management system to record pertinent tow information and data entry

•Dispatch and monitor tows in multiple regions

•Resolving Level 1 support issues

•System maintenance in ARIES Impound

•Outbound calls for status updates

• Provide support for system testing and training

Key Attributes:

•Experience with smartphone technology

•Experience with web-based applications

• Ability to work calmly under pressure

•Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work independently after being shown how to do a task

• Natural prowess to solve problems

• Associates or Bachelors degree
