Residential HVAC Service Technician
Vegas Knight & Day is a small, family-owned HVAC company in Las Vegas, and we are looking for an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our team.
This is a full-time service position with steady year-round work, benefits, commission opportunities, and room to grow with a company that continues to expand.
Most of this role is focused on residential HVAC service and repair. Light commercial service experience is a plus, but we are primarily looking for a strong residential technician.
Please note: We are not hiring installers at this time. We already have a dedicated install crew.
Pay & Schedule
- $20–$28 per hour, depending on experience
- Full-time position
- Steady work throughout the year
- Summer on-call rotation
- $100 on-call pay just to be on call
- Commission on parts sold and new unit sales

What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a dependable, motivated residential HVAC service technician who can diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems. The right person should be professional with customers, confident in troubleshooting, and interested in growing with a family-owned company.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems
- Service air conditioners, heat pumps, mini splits, and related equipment
- Perform inspections, diagnostics, and routine maintenance
- Troubleshoot systems using proper tools and testing equipment
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
- Explain repair options and recommendations
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Perform light commercial service work as needed, depending on experience
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of residential HVAC service experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience with air conditioners, heat pumps, and mini splits
- Light commercial HVAC experience is a plus, but not required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
- Positive attitude and willingness to grow with the company
