Job Summary:
Vega Vitality is seeking a qualified lead aesthetic nurse Injector (NP) with minimum of two years of experience in aesthetics to lead a fast growing, busy medical spa. We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic applicants to join a team of aestheticians and other nurse injectors and provide injectables, laser treatments, and other medspa services under the supervision of our onsite physician.
Our current staffing model includes one other NP, one nurse injector, and three licensed aestheticians. For this position, we are hoping to hire one lead nurse practitioner who, ideally, would help lead the team, develop treatment protocols, perform good faith exams, and help train less experienced staff. Some portion of weekly hours will be set aside for these responsibilities. Given these responsibilities, we are seeking a highly experienced aesthetic nurse, ideally with previous leadership responsibilities.

Education and Experience:
- Five years of experience in a medical office or hospital working as an RN or NP
- Experience in aesthetic medicine preferred
- Graduate of accredited nursing program with current NC state license, in good standing.
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Record and thorough documentation skills.

- Knowledge of laser and light-based technology, injectables terminology, aesthetic services and medical-grade skincare products as it relates to the services provided at Vega Vitality

Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver best in class cosmetic injectable treatments following the guidelines and under the supervision of the Medical Director
- Provides thorough reviews of patients’ history and screen for possible contraindications to treatment
- Conducts treatment consultations to identify patient goals and determines/recommends services and products to achieve optimal results
- Responsible to ensure patients have fully read, acknowledged, and executed consents prior to treatment
- Attends product and equipment continuing education courses, trainings offered by Vega Vitality and other programs to continually improve knowledge and skills
- Cross-sell procedures and products that complement the treatment and enhance results
- Comply with required protocols, requests, and compliance policies
- Achieve daily/ weekly/ monthly individual service goals.
- Effectively inform and educate clients about specific aesthetic treatment concerns.
- Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
- Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
- Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and clinic protocols.
- Handle client questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests by clients.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
- Accurately record all client treatments in EMR.
- Maintain and restock treatment rooms to ensure proper inventory and set-up daily in compliance with OSHA standards
