We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to assess, redesign, and optimize the Okta End-User Dashboard experience for employees and contractors. Evaluate the current dashboard layout, identify usability improvements, and develop a modern, business-aligned dashboard structure that enhances discoverability, usability, and self-service adoption. Possess strong UX design expertise, experience designing enterprise portals or SaaS-based user experiences, and the ability to translate stakeholder requirements into intuitive dashboard designs. The role requires close collaboration with IAM Engineers, Okta Administrators, business stakeholders, and IT leadership to deliver an optimized dashboard experience. This role is critical to improving the employee and contractor digital experience within the organization''s IAM ecosystem. A well-designed Okta dashboard enables users to quickly access the applications and services relevant to their role while supporting least-privilege access principles. The successful candidate will help increase user adoption, reduce support requests, improve application discoverability, and establish a scalable dashboard design framework aligned with business functions and governance standards.

Skills / Experience

• 10 years or more overall IT experience with 5 years of UX/UI Design experience and proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, or equivalent design tools
• 3 years of experience designing enterprise portals, SaaS applications, or employee-facing digital platforms
• User Experience (UX) Design and Enterprise Portal Design
• Wireframing & Prototyping Information and Architecture Dashboard Usability Optimization
• Figma/Adobe XD Stakeholder Presentation & Design Workshops
• Design Systems & UI Standards, Experience conducting user research, surveys, and usability assessments
• Okta End-User Dashboard Identity & Access Management; IAM User Research & Feedback Analysis
• Strong understanding of information architecture and dashboard design principles
• Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user journeys
• Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills
• BS or B.E / B.Tech / MS or equivalent in Computer Science / IT

Job / Role Description

• Assess the existing Okta End-User Dashboard structure, tile organization, and user experience
• Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability assessments to gather workforce feedback
• Analyze dashboard usage patterns and identify opportunities for usability improvements
• Design wireframes and prototype concepts for a redesigned dashboard experience
• Develop section-based dashboard layouts organized by business functions such as IT, HR, Finance, Clinical Systems, and R&D
• Define dashboard information hierarchy, navigation structure, and content organization standards
• Establish tile naming conventions, icon standards, categorization guidelines, and design consistency principles
• Create presentation materials and facilitate design review sessions with IAM leadership and IT stakeholders, Incorporate stakeholder feedback and refine dashboard design recommendations
• Collaborate with IAM Engineers and Okta Administrators to support implementation of approved designs
• Participate in change management and deployment planning activities; Document design standards, recommendations, and future-state dashboard governance guidelines
• Ability to facilitate stakeholder workshops, gather requirements, influence decision-making, communicate design concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Salary : $130,000 - $140,000
