Duties

  • Migrate IBM DataStage jobs using ISX files and complete post migration activities
  • Set up, scale, and provision the DataStage environment
  • Migrate DataStage connections, stages, parameters, and job control scripts (dsjob)
  • Migrate sequence jobs and rewrite routines, including before/after job logic
  • Build and optimize data pipelines loading into Snowflake
  • Develop Snowflake SQL (transformations, views, stored procedures) and use core features (warehouses, schemas, stages, tasks, streams)
  • Troubleshoot migration issues across DataStage and Snowflake
  • Document migration processes, data flows, and custom configurations
