- Role Overview:**
- Key Responsibilities:**
- **Requirements Gathering & Analysis:** Collaborate with stakeholders to understand billing report and dashboard needs, and translate them into functional specifications. Analyze existing billing workflows and identify gaps or improvement areas.
- **Mapping & Integration Support:** Develop and maintain data mapping documents between BillingCenter and the Data Warehouse. Work closely with the support team to validate mapping logic and ensure referential integrity across systems.
- **Documentation:** Create and update business process documentation, user stories, and interface specifications. Capture and document report/dashboard requirements in collaboration with stakeholders. Maintain traceability matrices and version-controlled documentation repositories.
- **Reporting & Analytics:** Partner with reporting teams and support staff to define KPIs and metrics for billing performance. Assist in building and validating reports and dashboards using enterprise reporting platforms.
- **Stakeholder Engagement:** Actively engage with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams to clarify requirements and align deliverables. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings to ensure transparency and progress tracking.
- **Testing & Validation:** Support UAT and SIT phases by preparing test cases and validating report outputs. Collaborate with QA teams to ensure data accuracy and performance benchmarks.
- Required Skills & Experience:**
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in P&C insurance, with at least 2 years in Guidewire BillingCenter.
- Strong understanding of billing processes, policy lifecycle, and integration points with ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter.
- Proven experience in data mapping, documentation, and report/dashboard development.
- Familiarity with Data Warehouse concepts and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Preferred Qualifications:**
- Guidewire certification in BillingCenter or ClaimCenter is a plus.
- The candidate should be comfortable working in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and iterative delivery cycles.
