As a BI Data Engineer, you will Lead the design and implementation of advanced BI data solutions, including data warehouses, data marts, and info-marts.
Duties
- Project Leadership: Participate in Agile projects, manage priorities, and ensure timely delivery.
- Data Architecture: Design and implement data warehouses, ETL processes, and dimensional models.
- SQL Development: Create complex SQL queries, SSIS packages, stored procedures, and indexes.
- Data Quality: Establish standards for data accuracy, completeness, and governance.
- Analytics: Understand business processes (especially Managed Care), design data models, and support reporting.
- Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders, document solutions, and educate teams on best practices.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and influence team direction.
- Bachelor's in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6 years in database development/administration OR 8 years progressive experience.
- Expertise in data architecture, ETL, and BI solutions.
- Preferably healthcare domain experience.
- Advanced SQL, data modeling, ETL tools, BI platforms, DevOps practices.
- Valid driver's license; up to 10% travel.
