Job Description

DataStage

  • Analyze job failures on DataStage Application & on Unix server
  • Code migrations
  • User creation & assignment of roles
  • Work with IBM Support for tool related issues
  • Unlock jobs/sessions.
  • Good understanding of Shell scripts & Python code

ControlM

  • Take action for failures as needed(kill, force-complete, hold etc..)
  • Configure SAP & Unix jobs
  • Calendar updates, Workload policy creations, getting new agents installed & upgrading Control M agents.
  • Work on PagerDuty Configurations

Gentran

  • Understanding of Maps, mailboxes, FTP scripts
  • Analyze custom Java programs.
  • 3. Configure/debug Stored procedures on MS SQL.

Must Have Skills

  • 8 years experience with IBM DataStage
  • Good understanding of Unix servers, shell scripts, Cron jobs & Relational databases
  • Working experience in Python Programming
  • Creating and debugging shell scripts

Good understanding of snowflake platform
