Warehouse Worker - Shift/Days Available

Duties

• Safely operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility
• Manage inventory control by accurately stocking, picking, packing, and organizing products using RF scanners and warehouse management systems like AS400
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against orders and ensuring proper documentation
• Support warehouse distribution activities through order fulfillment, order picking, and packaging to meet customer deadlines
• Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy and prevent stock discrepancies
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and mechanical knowledge protocols during all operations to ensure a safe working environment
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve overall warehouse management efficiency

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 or similar platforms
• Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers with proper certification if applicable
• Strong understanding of inventory management, stock control procedures, and materials handling techniques
• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of packaging processes and heavy lifting techniques
• Prior experience with shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment operation
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and order accuracy
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment requiring physical stamina for lifting heavy items and performing repetitive tasks
