Job Summary

Duties
- Safely operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility
- Manage inventory control by accurately stocking, picking, packing, and organizing products using RF scanners and warehouse management systems like AS400
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against orders and ensuring proper documentation
- Support warehouse distribution activities through order fulfillment, order picking, and packaging to meet customer deadlines
- Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy and prevent stock discrepancies
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and mechanical knowledge protocols during all operations to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve overall warehouse management efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 or similar platforms
- Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers with proper certification if applicable
- Strong understanding of inventory management, stock control procedures, and materials handling techniques
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of packaging processes and heavy lifting techniques
- Prior experience with shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment operation
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and order accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment requiring physical stamina for lifting heavy items and performing repetitive tasks
