We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring products meet strict quality standards through precise inspection and analysis. This role plays a critical part in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and quality management systems. The Quality Inspector will utilize advanced measurement tools and systems to uphold the integrity of our products and processes, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Duties
- Conduct thorough quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to verify product dimensions and specifications.
- Utilize vision inspection systems for detailed visual assessments of products.
- Perform quality audits to evaluate compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
- Collect and analyze data related to quality metrics, documenting findings accurately for review and reporting purposes.
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance protocols within quality management systems, including QA/QC, calibration, and calibration records.
- Identify non-conformities or deviations from specifications and collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions.
- Participate in root cause analysis and support process improvements to enhance overall product quality.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and audit reports in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Document inspection results in First Article reports
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality control, quality inspection, or related roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards.
- Proficiency with measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and advanced systems like coordinate measuring machines and vision inspection systems.
- Familiarity with quality management software, data collection methods, and analysis skills to interpret inspection results effectively.
- Experience conducting or participating in quality audits and implementing corrective actions.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Certification or experience with tools such as the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), use of precision measuring instruments, or relevant training is preferred. Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
