What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate - Securities & Capital Markets (Chicago, IL; New York; NY, Washington, position at Vedder Price?
- You have 3-5 years of experience working for an AM Law 100 law firm in the areas of corporate, securities, capital markets and M&A, with strong transactional skills;
- You have significant experience working on debt and equity offerings, M&A transactions, and SEC compliance and reporting (prior experience with securitizations and aviation clients will be an asset);
- You have strong oral and written communication skills, and can work effectively as part of a team and independently;
- You have a J.D. degree and strong academic credentials, and you are admitted in (and in good standing with) the applicable jurisdiction (Illinois, New York, DC or Florida).
