Role: Refrigeration Engineer
Location: Smithville, TN 37166
Duration: 12 months

Skills & Key Responsibilities:
1. Design & Development:
- Design and optimize evaporators, condensers, and compressors for high-efficiency cooling systems.
- Should be familiar with AHAM and ASHRAE standards and principles.
- Develop and refine thermal systems using advanced simulation tools (CFD, thermodynamic modeling).
- Select appropriate refrigerants and materials based on performance, cost, and environmental impact.
- Experience with Ammonia based refrigeration systems like Plate Freezers, Chillers, Cold Rooms, Flake Ice Machines, Etc.
2. System Testing & Validation:
- Conduct prototype testing and analyze data to validate system performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to heat transfer efficiency, pressure drops, and refrigerant flow.
- Collaborate with the mechanical and electrical teams to ensure seamless system integration.
3. Innovation & Optimization:
- Research and integrate the latest advancements in HVAC and refrigeration technology.
- Optimize system designs for energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations.
4. Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including schematics, design calculations, and technical reports.
- Present findings and design updates to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
