• Responsibilities
  • Manages the operation and maintenance of four (4) Operations Centers: Wahiawa, Hawaii Satellite Communications (SATCOM), Mobile User Objective System (MUOS), Kaneohe, Hawaii Tactical Support Communications (TSCOMM), Naval Radio Transmitting Facility (NRTF). Coordinate training efforts with Program of Record
  • Create training, Personal Qualification Standards (PQS), and examination material for all four O&M disciplines (Network, System Administration, Security, and Maintenance)
  • Keep accurate accounting of personnel training progress & completions. This includes O&M technology-specific training, Cybersecurity compliance, 3M qualifications and KMI qualifications.
  • Establish training packages for all new/on-boarding personnel
  • Maintain and keep accurate inventory the training library of physical and recorded media/resources
  • Provide assistance to Operations & Maintenance personnel as required
  • Research personnel security clearance information for site access control.
  • Issue security badges based on visitor access authorization.
  • Gather, collate and prepare documents for various submissions.
  • Greet and direct visitors to required locations as required by mission.
  • Other duties as assigned

• Minimum Qualifications
  • Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
    • High School Diploma
    • Minimum 5 years specialized technical experience
    • This is a Cyber Security Work Force (CSWF) Code 712 position and requires compliance with the DON Cyberspace IT/Cybersecurity Workforce Model located on NAVY COOL website.
  • Experience:
    • Must have experience of managing a training program at a comparable operational telecommunications facility.
    • Must have intermediate level understanding of networking, system administration, security, and hardware replacement
    • Previous Program knowledge/experience preferred
  • Security Clearance
    • Must be a US Citizen
    • Must possess and maintain Top Secret level security clearance
