The Job: A traffic control technician or flagger is responsible for directing vehicles and pedestrians in and around a construction site. Flagger certification is not required to apply, we can certify you!
Job Description:
- Set up and take down cones, signs, and other traffic control devices around roadwork or construction zones.
- Help direct vehicles and pedestrians safely through work areas.
- Communicate with members of the public and others at the job site.
- Follow all safety rules and instructions to keep yourself and others safe.
- Work closely with your team and site supervisors to keep traffic flowing smoothly.
- Keep equipment clean, organized, and ready for the next job.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Able to stand for long periods and work outdoors in all types of weather.
- Comfortable lifting up to 30lbs and working around traffic.
- Willing to complete traffic control/flagger certification training (provided if needed).
- Dependable, safety-minded, and able to follow directions well.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Flagger certification (ATSSA, National Safety Council, or other CT Approved flagger program)
- OSHA 10 or 30
- preference is given to candidates who are already certified
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
