Position Overview
The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing candidates, processing new hire paperwork, completing employee verifications and background checks, and enforcing company policies and practices. The ideal candidate is willing to pitch in on all levels, support & participate in HR initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Onboard new employees
- Maintain accurate employee records and data in HR systems
- Process and manage E-Verify and I-9 documentation in compliance with federal requirements
- Coordinate pre-employment drug screenings and background checks
- Ensure ongoing compliance with federal and state employment regulations
- Serve as a resource for employees seeking guidance on policies and procedures
- Handle unemployment claims and employment verification requests
- Generate HR reports including PTO tracking and analytics as requested
- All other duties assigned
- 1–3 years of experience in human resources or a closely related role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and comfort learning new software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- A self-starter mindset — you can identify what needs to be done and get it done
- Sharp attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
