What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Field Service Technician position at Vector Systems Inc?
Must have a minimum of 3 years programming, developing, and experience with Allen Bradley PLC's and be able to demonstrate said experience.
a. Compact Logix
b. Control Logix
c. HMI programming
Minimum of 2 years field service experience in industrial equipment:
a. Controls
b. Instrumentation (HART knowledge)
3. Preferred 2 years BMS startup experience
a. Startup and commissioning service.
b. Warrantee service.
c. Customer requested changes and modifications.
d. Preventive Maintenance
e. Retrofit implementation.
Strong work ethic and ability to travel >50%.
Maintain detailed working knowledge of the PLC, programming and controller platforms used by Vector Systems.
Maintain working knowledge of industry requirements required to perform your duties.
Maintain data base and programming software products used by Vector Systems.
Write, upload, and debug process control programs for PLC and controller based control projects to emulate the logic diagrams provided by the engineering department.
Review control logic drawings and provide suggested changes to provide the best possible control.
At Quality Manager direction perform FAT on process packages (in-house). Inform the Production Manager or others as necessary of any deficiencies that arise during final inspections and FAT testing.
Maintain training requirements required and document (with the Quality Department.)
Maintain equipment and tools required to perform your duties.
Follow OSHA and Safety guidelines in the manufacturing environment.
Any other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Vector Services.
Must be able to pass constant random drug tests and background checks as required from our customer.'
