Responsibilities
Vector Solutions is seeking an experienced Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) Instructor to support specialized training and operational requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering JTAC instruction and training while maintaining detailed training records and progression tracking.
- Ensuring all activities comply with established requirements, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Demonstrating a high standard of expertise in JTAC instruction and qualifications, adhering to service-specific JTAC policies and guidance.
Qualifications
Security Clearance: Must hold a current Secret.
Experience:
- A minimum of two years of experience with Special Operations Forces (SOF) or two years of operational deployments as a JTAC supporting SOF.
- Comprehensive understanding of military command and control structures and the interface with other military, local, state, and federal agencies.
Skills:
- Strong communication abilities.
- Proficiency in land navigation, including using maps, compasses, and GPS to identify and locate points of interest or targets using latitude, longitude, and Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) coordinates.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be capable of lifting up to 60 pounds and performing tasks related to JTAC operations in various environments.
- Possession of a valid civilian driver’s license and eligibility for a military driver’s license for assigned vehicle operations.
Education and Certifications
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Certifications:
- Current JTAC Instructor (JTAC-I) qualification and certification within the last 48 months.
