Vector Remote Care is committed to improving cardiac health through innovative remote monitoring solutions. As part of our team, you’ll contribute to impactful healthcare advancements with a patient-centric approach.

Why This Role Exists

Vector’s platform powers cardiac clinics and health-system networks with a unified operating layer for remote cardiac care. To deliver reliable value quickly—and reduce our tech debt—we need an Engineering Manager dedicated to team health, coaching, performance, delivery discipline, and high-functioning partnership with Product.

This role ensures engineers have what they need to thrive: clarity, focus, mentorship, psychological safety, and frictionless workflows that enable high-quality work to ship predictably.

The Mission (Outcomes over Methods)

You will be accountable for these outcomes—the how is your craft:

1. A healthy, high-performing engineering team - Engineers feel supported, understand expectations, grow their careers, and have clear ownership. The team experiences low drama, high trust, and genuine psychological safety.

2. Predictable, reliable delivery - Teams deliver value at a sustainable pace with 4–6 week cycles. Tech debt is addressed deliberately, not reactively.

3. Seamless partnership with Product - Product gets consistent engineering input early (not late). Engineers continue to support our Continuous Discovery Habits framework. Engineers understand why work matters. Discovery and delivery run in lockstep.

4. Developer experience that keeps improving - CI/CD pipelines, tooling, process, and collaboration norms get better quarter over quarter—raising throughput without burnout.

5. Data-informed decisions and continuous improvement - Engineering metrics are visible, understood, and actively used to drive better outcomes. The team tracks what matters, celebrates progress, and uses data to identify friction points and validate improvements.

6. Quality embedded, not inspected - Defects and rework trend down because testing, automation, and observability are an integral part of the engineering culture.
