Position Overview

The Cardiac Reporting Supervisor plays a key leadership role within the Reporting Team, directly managing a group of reporting technicians and supporting staff. Reporting to the Cardiac Reporting Operations Manager, this role ensures day-to-day operations run smoothly, reporting standards are met, and team members are well-trained, supported, and performing at a high level.

The Supervisor serves as both a hands-on contributor and a team leader, balancing operational oversight with direct involvement in reporting workflows. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a solutions-oriented mindset, and the ability to collaborate closely with peers, leadership, and other departments.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Support

  • Supervise and mentor a team of reporting technicians and/or nurses.
  • Provide daily oversight of schedules, assignments, and workload distribution.
  • Review regular audits of reporting accuracy and timeliness, ensuring established KPIs are met.
  • Coach and develop team members, providing feedback and supporting career growth.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for team questions or issues.
  • Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new technicians.
  • Participate in reporting for clinics, as assigned
  • Participate in weekend/holiday manager rotation.
  • Go in to office and assist with staffing as needed
  • Travel to clinics/customers on an as-needed basis.

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain consistent, high-quality reporting service for assigned clinics.
  • Personally process reports when needed, following clinic-specific guidelines and timelines.
  • Monitor and resolve system alerts (e.g., Scraper Alarms) promptly.
  • Manage and maintain secure password systems for the team.
  • Ensure all clinic onboarding and reporting setup steps are completed accurately and on schedule.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with the Cardiac Reporting Operations Manager to align daily operations with strategic goals.
  • Support cross-departmental coordination with Account Management, Onboarding, and Support teams.
  • Communicate updates, process changes, and performance expectations to the team clearly and promptly.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Identify workflow gaps and collaborate with leadership on process improvements.
  • Assist in implementing updated reporting guidelines and protocols.
  • Review monthly accuracy metrics to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.

Education and Experience

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or certified Device Technician with 3 years’ experience in a cardiac device clinic OR 5 years’ experience with a device manufacturer in a cardiac device field role.
  • Active IBHRE and CCT certification required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience supervising or training staff preferred
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working in both leadership and hands-on operational capacities.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
