Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Health and Life Insurance Producer based in East Lansing, MI. The role involves providing comprehensive client support, including consulting on health and life insurance options, managing employee benefit plans, and helping clients develop strategies to enhance health and wellness outcomes. The role also includes customer service tasks, answering questions about policies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Medicine, particularly in the context of health insurance and employee benefits
- Experience in Health Promotion, including the ability to guide clients in developing wellness strategies
- Proven ability to stay up-to-date on industry regulations and changes
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple client needs effectively
- State health and life insurance license (or willingness to obtain as required)
- Prior experience in health benefits brokerage or related industry is a plus
