Electrical Project Manager

We are growing and looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team in Auburn, WA.

Position Summary

As a Project Manager at Vector Electrical Group, you will play a key role in leading public works electrical construction projects from start to finish. This position requires a strong understanding of field operations, project controls, and public works requirements, along with the ability to manage multiple projects while staying aligned with budget, schedule, and quality expectations.

This is a hands-on role that works closely with field crews and requires regular jobsite presence.

Project Types Include:

• DOT, city, and municipal projects
• Traffic signals and roadway systems
• Medium voltage and underground utilities
• Bridges, airports, and wastewater facilities

What You Will Do

• Manage the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through closeout
• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, materials, and schedules
• Track project costs, budgets, and forecasting to ensure financial performance
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and public works requirements
• Maintain consistent communication with owners, inspectors, and internal teams
• Identify and resolve issues proactively to keep projects on track
• Support estimating, change orders, and project documentation

What You Will Need to Be Successful

• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical construction project management
• Proven experience managing public works projects
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and field coordination
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project) and Bluebeam
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Accubid
• Familiarity with prevailing wage and public works compliance
• Experience working with self-perform crews

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support field teams and project staff as needed

Work Environment

• Based in Auburn, WA
• Combination of office and field work
• Regular travel to job sites required

Compensation & Benefits

• $90,000 – $135,000 DOE
• 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision
