We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Mechanical Assembly and Machine Technician to join our team in Newton, MA. This would be a full-time on-site position in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Working with complex mechanical assemblies
- Perform basic turning and milling operations
- Supporting 3-D printing operations (with training)
- Inspection of incoming machine parts
- Assemble and test mechanical assemblies according to written procedures and specifications
- Collaborate with engineers to develop assembly processes and procedures
Basic Qualifications:
- Good mechanical skills and high attention to detail
- Good communicator, capable of working well independently and in a team environment
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Experience with machining and mechanical assembly (formal training is a plus)
- Proficient with shop machine tools and QC instruments
- High school diploma, GED or Technical school equivalent
- 3-5 years of related experience

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
